Trampoline is a game where the participants jump up and down – hence, called rebounders – on a very hard fabric that is attached to a metal through a spring. The presence of spring between the fabric and the metal is the reason that the participant is bounced up and about in a trampoline. Whatever direction the participant assumes is the direction that he is bounced off after landing on the trampoline.
Trampoline is also used by gymnasts to practice for their routine because jumping up and about in a trampoline gives them the ability to work out even with the absence of gravity. Hence, trampoline is also used by astronauts as training before they are set off to outer space where there is no gravity that holds a person in place. Commonly though, trampoline is considered by other people as a game for recreation. And professionally speaking, trampoline is already considered as a professional sport.
